Bangi Wonderland Theme Park and Resort
Strayas Rides
3 months ago"There are three ride towers servicing 9 adult slides of varying excitement. The staff and lifeguards were friendly however there are a lot of rules and regulations to abide by. First is the weight and height requirements, there are maximum and minimum weights for users to look out for, they have scales at the start of the slides and they will weigh guests before allowing you to slide. If you weigh over 85kg then you cannot use any rides according to their rules however if you go and see the managment you can sign a waiver releasing them from liability and they will allow you to use the slides at your own risk (but not the wonderloop). We feel that the amount of rules does reduce the fun of the park however it is not uncommon for Malaysia waterparks to be so strict.

The canopy walks are lovely and one can really feel rejuvenated after spending some time here. This green lung in the city is just what KL dwellers need to experience mother nature and to shut out the traffic noise without venturing too far out from the city. There is ample parking spot and the best time to go is in the evening as you can see the KL tower lights later on. When I was there, the entire area was quite clean and there wasn't a huge crowd." Muzium Islam Melaka

3 years ago"Visited back in Feb before the lockdown. This museums is all about Islam and Islam in Melaka and Malaysia. The museum is over 2 floors. The first floor covers basics of Islam and what it means to be a muslim. The information covers the basics with a little more depth, which made it a more interesting. There were even some exhibits on Islamic designs and what they represent e.g the architecture sculptures that adorn Islamic style buildings.
The second floor was quite boring though. It does go into more depth about the organisation of Islam, important Malaccan religious people and religious education in Melaka. Something I imagine would only be of interest to a muslim and even then maybe not.
Overall, I learnt a little bit more about Islam, so that’s a good thing." View
Cheng Ho's Cultural Museum, Melaka

The Cheng Ho Cultural Museum is a museum dedicated to the great mariner, Cheng Ho, and famous voyages. Broadly, the museum is divided into a biographical section of the life of Cheng Ho, and the remainder to his voyages. The museum goes into great details about the voyages, the organisation of the ships, the planning and control of the fleet and the legacy left behind by the voyages. There are hundreds and possibly thousands of artefacts, some of which are very high quality. This is probably the best museum in Malacca and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone interested in history." View
Malaysia Architecture Museum

As the name of the museum suggests, this museum is dedicated to architecture with a special focus on the architecture of Malaysia. The museum is set over two floors with the first mainly historical development of architecture in Malaysian. The first floor also has a quaint section on indigenious beliefs related to the location the creation of buildings e.g. feng shui. The 2nd floor is more focused on the tools and materials of building, styles of buildings of the different states of Malaysia, plus modern architecture of Malaysia.
Some of the scale models of landmark buildings of Malaysia are just stunning and some of the detailed descriptions of traditional woodwork I found fascinating.
The entrance fee is reasonable, but is well worth the..." View
Governor's Museum Melaka

This museum is housed in the former governors mansion and mainly exhibits gifts and personal belongings of all the former governors or heads of state of Malacca. The museum is well arranged and there’s even a section with biographies of many of the former governors and heads of state. Downstairs, you can see some of the rooms that were used by the governors. The dinner table for entertaining official guests is perfectly laid out and looks nice.
The museum is housed in a nice Dutch Colonial style white building with well tended gardens all around. Entrance to this museum is free as part of the entrance to the Stadthuys Museum complex and is one that is worth visiting if you have time." View

Went here in the morning, not that many visitors on weekdays. Excellent picnic spot if you're planning to go on a picnic with family and friends. Not to mention, there's a huge public swimming pool available. There's also paths or roads available for people to jog. They provide multiple park huts to sit under the shade and many benches to sit. Thus, great place to take instagrammable pictures. I'd say a great space to spend your time with family and friends but definitely not in the afternoons where its too hot. Go in the mornings and evenings." View

Please decide if you are to be a public library or a cafe as it is not at all a pleasant impression looking from the outside of the building as it looks messy and dirty.
I am just a resident of Damansara Heights concerned with our surroundings.
Thank you." View

Extraordinary to learn that Tun is president again even though he's in his 90's. Only RM10 entry fee and there was no one else there during my visit. This is a big museum dedicated to one man and is spread across two, two storey buildings connected by an enclosed passage way. Must Visit !!!" View

I was in awe of the intelligence and precision behind designing this fort but at the same time I felt sadness, especially when seeing a room with four walls decorated with bullet holes. The whole experience is humbling and I recommend this museum to anyone who appreciates and respects the enormity of the war during the Japanese occupation." View
