Introduction
Located in a Forest Reservation Area, Sungai Pandan Waterfall is considered one of the most beautiful falls in Pahang and is less than 25 km from Kuantan. The 100-metre cascading waters fall into a shallow pool that is perfect for cooling off and attracts families enjoying picnics and swimming, with vendors selling food.
What to Expect?
It consists of beautiful cascading rapids from the hill down to the giant rocks, culminating in large pool, which makes it attractive and ideal from swimming. Sungai Pandan waterfall is really suitable for everyone, especially for those with families as they can enjoy the cool water splashing and it is safe for kids too thanks to the shallow depth of water – just at knee level – so kids can safely play around the area.
Sungai Pandan is part of a Forest Reservation Area called Hutan Lipur Sungai Pandan, encompassing an area of about 25 hectares. Its forest is gazetted as an untouched treasure to preserve and conserve, home to several species of tropical trees, animals and insects.
For activities, Sungai Pandan waterfall is ideal for picnic, outing and camping, hanging out with families, friends and colleagues. I suggest taking advantage of the rest huts and barbecue grill areas for your deserved breaks.
For those who want to explore nature, head for a walk along the jungle trails: reach the top of the fall, and follow the course of the gentle stream to a suspension bridge, location suitable for picture-taking of the whole waterfalls area.

a month agoShort 5 mins drive from main road (as long no huge trucks blocking your way, place is being mined for sand n rocks.. sad)
Place is very clean, in someway though its nature but have been slightly tamed by humans with a poolshape water area.
The waterfall itself is so BEAUTIFUL and Majestic.
Toilet and shower is clean, functional and have strong water pressure. Its FREE as well.
There's a small fee for parking and rm 3 per adult entrance fees. -

3 months agoThis waterfall is enormous and spectacular. Great place to calm your mind. Unfortunately, authorities need to maintain facilities, some of it not well maintained. Entrance fee as April 2023, was RM3 per head + RM3 (for parking). Outside of this area were some destroying nature activities such as stone mining & bauxite exploration. Hope it will not affect the nature beauty of this waterfall.
